Background and Information

The IBM ThinkPad X41 is a rugged notebook computer that was distributed by International Business Machines (IBM) in 2005. Weighing 2.7 pounds (with a 4 cell battery) and a 12.1" screen, the ThinkPad is a lightweight and highly portable computer measuring 10.5″ L x 8.3″ W x 1.06″ D. The IBM ThinkPad X41 is distinguished by the IBM logo on the bottom right hand corner of its sturdy black exterior and the X41 name in white located on the bottom left corner of the screen once device is opened. Key features include its 2-button track pad and red pointer-stick centered on the keyboard. The ThinkPad X41 came equipped with the Intel Pentium M LV 758 processor with a1.50GHz processing speed, a 1.8” 20GB 30GB, 40GB, or 60GB hard drive, either 256MB or 512MB of RAM, and a standard operating system of Windows XP.
