The HP iPAQ H3850 was released in April of 2000. Served as a personal digital assistant. The HP iPAQ was manufactured by Hewlett Packard the original price for the iPAQ was roughly around $500 and now it can be bought for as low as $30. The iPAQ acts as a pocket PC and has computer features, like internet access and music. The iPAQ has speakers to play music and a back light screen so it could be used in the dark. It also had an LED light bulb at the top to notify the user they had a new notification. The iPAQ was made for the typical business person to use daily to help keep organized, and reply to any necessary emails even if they weren't near their computer.
Identification
Locate the HP iPAQ H3850 handheld computer name laser etched on the bottom, top or bottom edge of your device, or under the battery compartment.
