Background and Identification
The Google Pixel Buds were first announced in October of 2017 alongside the Pixel 2. The earbuds communicate wirelessly, but are physically linked to each other by a fabric-covered cord. (Google would later release the fully wireless 2nd generation Pixel Buds, featuring a completely new design but retaining the same name.)
