Background and Identification
The Fujifilm FinePix S9500 or FinePix S9000 is a bridge digital camera produced by Fujifilm, a Japanese photography, imaging, printing, medical equipment, chemical, and biotechnology company. The Fujifilm FinePix S9500 was released in 2005 and designed for enthusiastic amateur photographers. The camera is a member of the Fujifilm FinePix family series and was succeeded by the Fujifilm FinePix S100fs.
The Fujifilm FinePix S9500 includes an extensive list of advanced prosumer features like wide-angle ability (28 mm equivalent on a 35 mm camera), a full range of manual settings, high ISO-sensitivities, a mechanical zoom ring, movie mode (up to 60 fps), a movable LCD panel, and macro mode for extreme close-up photography. The Fujifilm FinePix S9500 also includes a RAW image file option and 21.4-times total zoom (10.8-times optical and 2.0-times digital). The camera’s liquid-crystal display (LCD) screen can be tilted up to an angle of 45-degrees and 90-degrees, and down to 45-degrees.
The Fujifilm FinePix S9500 has a maximum resolution of 9.0 megapixels, which is stated in the bottom right-hand corner of the camera’s front face. It includes the name “Fujifilm” in capital letters above the camera’s extruding lens. The words “Fujinon Zoom Lens” are printed in capital letters at the top of the lens’s bezel. The name “FinePix S9500” is printed in a white font on the camera’s top face.
