Background
The ExoPC is a tablet PC that was released by EXOPC, in October 2010. The starting price was $600, but it is fairly old and it can be found used for under $200. It comes with Windows 7 installed, has an Intel Atom 1.66 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, and either a 32 or 64 GB SSD. The tablets dimensions are 11.6" x 7.7" and it weights about 2 lbs. The touch screen has a 1366 x 768 resolution and has many of the standard features such as screen rotation, pinch-to-zoom, hold and drag, etc. It was one of first tablets to have an App store and the Apps can be access by the devices unique software layer, where a polka dot grid appears at the touch of a button. One of the shortcomings of the device is the limited battery life, only about 4 hours. Still for a device from 2010 there were a lot of things it got right, and paved the way the for more refined tablets we have today.
