Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing problems, a troubleshooting guide to the Escali P115M is available here.
Background
The Escali P115M is a digital kitchen scale used for measuring wet or dry ingredients up to 11 pounds in 0.1 ounce increments. Released in 2012 and weighing only 1 pound, the P115M model is available in nine different colors and has a weight limit of 5000 grams, 11 pounds, or 175 ounces.
While Escali has produced other kitchen scales since the P115M model, this digital kitchen scale is still widely used due to its easy-to-use features, accurate measurements, and enthusiastic reviews online. The P115M has an automatic shut-off after four minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life and features two buttons to operate. One button allows the user to switch between grams, pounds, and ounces and the other button will turn the device on, off, or reset the scale. This "tare" feature used to reset the scale is useful for measuring liquid ingredients without adding the container's weight to the result.
So far, the Escali P115M has not faced any manufacturer recalls.
Identification
The Escali P115M model number (P115M) is printed on the manufacturer label affixed to the bottom of the CD player.
