Background and Identification
In physical therapy, dynamometers are used to measure the strength of the patient’s grip. Therapists use these measurements to gauge the level of the patient’s injury or trauma, as well as to track how well the patient is responding to the therapy treatment. Hand dynamometers can be used to treat carpal tunnel, neuromuscular disorders, or nerve damage.
