Background

The Celestron Nature DX 8x25 binoculars, released January of 2013, are marketed as a relatively inexpensive option for quality binoculars aimed at beginners to the hobby. Green in color, they are compact and light while still durable. They have an 8x magnification and 25 millimeter objective lenses, with BaK-4 prisms for detailed imagery. The binoculars are also waterproof. Major components include the casing, lenses, focus knob and anchor/control arms.

Identification

You can identify the binoculars as this model by the "Celestron" brand name running along the length of the lens casing at the top of the device (where your fingers would be while operating) in bold white text. Along the circumference of the casing near the viewing lens, you can find similar white text reading "Nature DX".
