Background Information
Kettles and Pots are key tools in brewing. They can come in all kinds of sizes, from 2 gallons to 10 gallons, and even up to 55-gallon sizes, in all configurations including electric kettles and temperature measuring pots.
Normally a brewer would want to use the larger pot. This is because a larger pot would allow for more wort to boil, and allows the hops to be utilized. This results in a clearer and paler beer.
