Background

The Archos 101 G9 is a tablet produced by French electronics company Archos that runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It was available for preorder on September 20th, 2011 and hit store shelves on October 16th that same year. It has since been discontinued.

The Archos 101 is a fairly large and thick dark gray tablet with rounded edges and a 10in screen in the center. The back contains a folding kickstand for easy video viewing and characteristic dots in a square formation indicating the location of the speaker.

The Archos 101 G9 contains a 720p front camera, compass capabilities, 5.5 hours of battery life, optional 3G cellular service, and bluetooth connectivity.

Identification

It can be easily identified by the presence of the name of the device in white lettering center-middle on the front just below the screen.
