Background
The Apple Watch SE 2, or "SE 2nd Generation", or "SE 2022" is, naturally, Apple’s 2nd generation Apple Watch SE.
Keeping in line with Apple’s other SE devices marketed as “heavy on features, light on price,” the second-generation Apple Watch SE became available in September of 2022, featuring the same design, display, and chip as the Apple Watch Series 8. Unlike the Series 8, though, the SE doesn’t have an always-on display.
Identification
The aluminum-only Apple Watch SE 2 starts at $249 and comes in either Midnight, Starlight, or Silver. Like other Apple Watches, both GPS-only and GPS + Cellular models are available. Besides labelling, the watch body of the Apple Watch SE 2 looks just like the aluminum Series 8 and Series 7.
