Background and Identification

The Air Liquide AGFS is an oxygen concentrator produced and sold by Air Liquide. An oxygen concentrator is a medical or industrial device that concentrates the oxygen from either ambient air or another gas supply. Oxygen concentrators selectively remove nitrogen and other gases from the air to provide an oxygen-enriched stream. Air Liquide S.A. (meaning “liquid air” in English) is a French company that supplies industrial gases like nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, helium, and acetylene to various industries.

The Air Liquide AGFS oxygen concentrator includes a plug-in ejector for vacuum generation. It can be operated with one hand while engaging and disengaging the oxygen. It can be mounted against a wall. The AGFS model includes a stainless steel housing.

The Air Liquide AGFS oxygen concentrator can be identified by its metal faceplate, which includes a circle embossed out of the plate. The circle is doughnut-shaped with a smaller circle punched out of the larger circle. The doughnut shape is mostly white with two large red stripes. The name “AGFS” is printed in large black capital letters and the term “Typ 1” is printed in smaller black font next to the name. The AGFS model includes a copper pipe pressure gas line and exhaust line.
