Background

Acer was established in Melbourne, Australia, in 1930. The Acer company began with a staff of five and is now one of the world’s leading educational research institutions. Acer partnered with Google in 2008 and began to develop and launch the Chromebook. Since 2011, Acer has developed more than 20 Chromebook models, ranging from convertibles to touchscreen, as well as some with a stylus. The Acer Chromebook CB5-132T-C8ZW was one of the first models to be released.
