Background and Identification
Asus originated as a company in Taiwan in 1989 when it was started by four former hardware engineers from Acer. Since the company’s origination, it has steadily climbed in size and impact. Asus today (summer 2020) manufactures a range of products, including phones, tablets, desktop computers, monitors, and wearables.
Among Asus tablets is the Asus ZenPad S8, which was released in June of 2015. The ZenPad S8 is an 8-inch tablet that is designed to be light and portable. The device aims to offers users a vivid and rich visual experience, smooth-flowing motion, and powerful performance. The ZenPad S8 comes with 16 GB of storage but includes a microSD card slot, which could increase the tablet’s storage capacity to up to 128 GB.
The ZenPad S8 has an 8-inch display housed in a black encasing. The Asus logo is printed on the bottom of the device just below the screen, as well as on the back of the tablet.
