Background
The Velocity V2 was created by 5LINX, a company based in Rochester, NY. It was released in Q2 of 2013. It is a business-oriented tablet computer marketed towards businessmen as a lightweight substitute for laptops.
Identification
The Velocity V2 is a rectangular device. The front of the device is encompassed by a screen surrounded by a black bezel and a front camera placed in the middle of the bezel on the horizontal axis of the device. The device’s rear is silver colored with a large logo silk-screened on the middle of the backplate reading “5LINX Velocity”. There are two black plastic trim pieces on the vertical axis of the device, with one of the trim pieces containing all of the I/O of the device. The I/O in top-to-bottom order is the microphone, 3.5mm jack, mini USB, mini HDMI, and TF card slot. The camera, built-in speakers, and power button are located on the horizontal axis of the top left corner of the device's rear when looking at the backplate. There are two built-in speakers that are pill-shaped.
